Hamish Gaman has quit Dancing On Ice after obtaining an injury.

The professional ice-skater, who has been paired with Coronation Street star Faye Brookes, snapped a tendon in his hand before Sunday night’s show.

Matt Evers, who was originally paired with Denise Van Outen, will replace Hamish to skate with Faye for the rest of the competition.

Following the news, Faye wrote on Instagram: “Truly heartbroken with the news that @hamishgaman has had to withdraw from @dancingonice.”
