Celebrity line-up CONFIRMED for Bear Grylls’ new survival show

The line-up for Bear Grylls’ new series of The Celebrity Island has finally been revealed.

The Sun has revealed that former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh and her rumoured love interest Ryan Thomas, best known for his role on Corrie. will be participating in the show, which will air on Channel 4.

Breaking Bad star RJ Mitte, Olympian Sharron Davies, former Pussycat Doll singer Melody Thornton, Olympic sprinter-turned-broadcaster Iwan Thomas will also be taking part.

As well as that, Rizzle Kicks rapper Jordan Stephens, comedian Mark Watson, comedian and writer Shazia Mirza and TV doctor Sara Kayat complete the line-up.

The show will see the celebrities endure four weeks surviving in one of the toughest environments on earth on an uninhabited island.

All they will have are the clothes on their back, basic tools, medical supplies, enough water to last them for 24 hours and each other.

The stars have already been filming for the show in Panama, and will document their experience on the island themselves.

They will also be joined by five embedded crew member, who will live alongside them in the exact same conditions to help document their journey.
