Love Island presenter Caroline Flack got emotional as she paid tribute to Sophie Gradon on Sunday night’s episode of After Sun.
The former Miss Great Britain, who appeared on the 2016 series of Love Island, was found dead at her parent’s house last Wednesday.Â
As footage of Sophie flashed up on the screen, Caroline told viewers, “Tragically this week we lost as beautiful soul in Sophie Gradon.”
“She was a gorgeous person both inside and out and everyone’s thoughts here at Love Island are with Sophie’s friends and family at this really terrible time. Sophie we’ll never forget you.”
Just months before her death, Sophie had opened up about her battle with anxiety and depression.Â
Sophie’s cause of death is currently unconfirmed, but police are not treating it as suspicious.
