The tech giants will be creating interactive iBooks of George RR Martin series – so fans can relive the stories.
“We’re now entering a new period in the history of publishing,” George said.

The hit book series has now become a hugely popular TV show that has won multiple awards and has broken records at this year’s Emmys.
“The digital book gives readers the ability to experience all this rich secondary material that had not been possible before,” he said with the books launch on the iTunes store.
“These enhanced editions, available only on iBooks, include sigils and family trees and glossaries.
“Anything that confuses you, anything you want to know more about, it’s right there at your fingertips.”
