The BRIT Awards 2025 host has been announced as Jack Whitehall after Roman Kemp was reportedly “axed.”
Jack hosted the show back in 2018 and returned for the following three consecutive years.
However, despite his previous run of hosting, show bosses have stated this “is not a comeback.”

On Wednesday evening, the official BRIT Awards social media accounts revealed Jack’s return.
The account wrote on X: “Don’t call it a comeback. Jack Whitehall return to host BRITs 2025 🏆.”
In a video posted alongside the announcement, Jack can be seen standing in the “BRITS Strategy Room,” as he attempts to figure out his plan for hosting.
Addressing the camera, the comedian says: “So I’ve had some ideas for the announcement video to cut through the noise.”

“We need a slogan… ‘Jack’s Back!’ Yeah. Bit boring maybe? Once you go Jack, you never go back. And then we cross out the ‘never’.”
A voice then asks: “Have we got anything else?”
And the Fresh Meat actor says: “Maybe I’m getting bogged down in the puns…”
He then refers returning American president Donald Trump by suggesting: “Make the brits great again.”
He added: “Spray me orange, I do the dance.”

He then recommends a parody version of a popular song, referencing tunes by Stormzy and Taylor Swift.
Footage then shows him trying to convince Scottish musician Lewis Capaldi to join him in a farce, only for the star not to realise who Jack is.
Eventually, he settles on wearing a grey suit and simply states that “Jack is back” to host the awards.

The BRIT Awards are due to air on 1 March with a glittering ceremony to take place in London.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was revealed that Roman Kemp would not return to host the show after he co-hosted alongside Maya Jama and Clara Amfo.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Roman has been told he isn’t hosting this year. He loved it but accepts that these things change. He was flattered to be chosen to do it last year but he’s a pro and gets it.”
