Bridgerton halts filming again due to another Covid case

Production on season two of Bridgerton has been suspended, after two people on set tested positive for Covid-19.

The popular period drama halted filming earlier this week, after a crew member tested positive for the coronavirus.

At the time, it was reported that anyone who came into contact with the infected person was in isolation.

Just days later, Deadline has reported that a second person tested positive for Covid-19 on set, causing production to be halted indefinitely.

It’s unknown if the person who tested positive was a cast or crew member.

Production on season two of Bridgerton kicked off in London back in May.

The second season of the period drama will focus on Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), and his romance with new character Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
