Brian Ormond admits he’s a protective dad

Brian Ormond has admitted that he is a protective dad to his children, but has eased up on his daughter, Chloe.

The TV presenter, who had the bright eyed teen with his former girlfriend Natara Byrne, said he’s sure to give her space.

“I am protective, but I give her enough space to do what she likes to do,” he admitted.

Being a typical dad, Brian revealed to RSVP that he does have his worries when Chloe goes out.

“I like to know where she is and how she is getting home, if I can help out in any way then I will,” he said.

“I always like to know that she is being looked after, but at the same time, I need to give her a chance to grow up herself.

“Boys and girls are different though and you need to be a little more cautious, but I think that is down to the father/daughter bond,” he added.

Meanwhile, 15-year-old Chloe admitted that she does have a good bond with her dad.

“We are both jokers and we are always messing, that is our main similarity,” she said.

“He is always trying to embarrass me, and he is very quick to catch me out if I say something. Whenever we spend time together, he does something to mortify me.

“If I get a text off somebody, he would always say, ‘Oh, is that your boyfriend’, trying to make me blush,” she added.
