'Bressie doesn't stand a chance': Kian Egan reveals it's him or Una to win this years series of The Voice

Kian Egan has revealed he or Una Healy will this years series of The Voice of Ireland.

While RTE has only broadcast the first two episodes of the singing reality series, the contestants have already completed the battle stages of the competition with two acts emerging as clear front runners.

The Westlife singer also insisted that two time champion Bressie does not stand a chance this year with both of the stand out acts gone to him and Una.

“In my head, when I think of the contestants and obviously we’re further along on the show that everyone is at home,” Kian said.

Front runners: Kian thinks he or Una will win this years series.

He continued: “There’s one of two people that are pretty superb at this stage. I think I have one of them and I think Una has the other.”

“So I don’t think it’s Bressie this year as much as Bressie thinks he’s going for the hat-trick, it’s between me and Una” he told the Star.

Kian also recently revealed that with wife Jodi’s second pregnancy, he is in no rush to record a new album.

“At the moment, the baby is coming so I don’t want to commit to a new album. I want to make it properly,” he said.

“Sometimes you get rushed to make something so fast, you kind of go, ‘Yeah let’s do it, lets put it out’ and then you rush it.

“And then you kinda look back and go, ‘Maybe I should have gone a bit slower’ which is kind of how I feel about the first one.”
