The 2020 BAFTA TV Awards took place in London tonight, hosted in a closed studio by Richard Ayoade.
The socially-distanced show, which was broadcast on BBC One, saw this year’s winners accept their awards virtually – amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Although all winners accepted their awards via video link, some famous faces appeared in studio to present the awards – including Normal People stars Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Alongside tonight’s awards, Idris Elba received a special honour from BAFTA for his creative contribution to television, and his work promoting diversity and new talent in the industry.
