It has been confirmed that Anastacia is the ninth contestant for Strictly Come Dancing.
The Chicago native shot to fame in the early 2000s with her hit songs I’m All Outta Love and Left Outside Alone.
“I am not a dancer. I am looking forward to having fun doing something I have never done before,” she admitted.

The singer revealed that she is a fan of the show having seen the positive effect it’s had on previous contestants.
“I have always been a fan of this TV show and admired each contestant year after year,” she said in press release.
“I have seen many people have a positive experience on this show.”
The blonde beauty will be joined by our very own Laura Whitmore on the show.
