Amy Huberman is set to appear in a new episode of Silent Witness – playing an expectant mum.
The TV star feels “really lucky” to play the pregnant part in the BBC crime drama, which stars Emilia Fox as a forensic expert.
She said: “I’ve actually been really lucky. I filmed something during the summer that I was actually playing a pregnant person in.
“I did an episode of Silent Witness and I was like, ‘What are the chances, this is perfect?’

“It’s been lucky that I haven’t had that much on acting-wise, it’s been a good time to write.”
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old has also been kept busy working on writing a TV script.
Previously Goss.ie told how Amy has been handed the funding by RTE to make the sitcom.
But Amy told the Herald that it hasn’t been easy to finish with one-year-old daughter Sadie around.

“That was hard. When I wrote before, I loved writing into the night and then catching up on sleep with a lie-on ’til 10am,” she said.
“And I did try to do that this time and Brian is very good, he did get up at the crack of dawn.
“It was harder and it caught up with me a bit. But I had to do it at night-time because that’s when the baby was sleeping.
“It’s a very different process to the book, which you know is going to be out in six months time and it’s an industry I’m used to.”
