Amy Hart has released her Love Island audition tape.
Uploading the clip to YouTube, the reality star wrote:
“Everyday I get people asking me what the Love Island audition process was like. And, for me, here’s how it started!”
In the video, Amy self-describes as “the lovechild of Elton John and Gemma Collins” and “the world’s worst drunk texter” who is “too extra for my own good”.
“I know I’ve got the hair, the teeth, the nails, the boobs but I’m not your run-of-the-mill Barbie girl.”
“There’s only one Ames.”
The star also revealed that absolutely everyone has to audition for the show, even if they are contacted to apply via social media.
“No matter what you may have heard, EVERYONE has to audition to be on Love Island. Nobody just gets contacted and put in the villa. There’s so much more to it than that.”
“So if you fancy your chances in the villa next year, get cracking! If it happened for me, it can happened for anyone.”
Amy also gave her advice to those who would love a shot at being on the show:
“1) Be yourself – you’ll seen get found out. And it’ll be even harder to keep up a facade when you’re in the villa.
2) Be honest – don’t pretend to be a rocket scientist if you’re not. But if you are, shout it from the rooftops!
3) Be creative and show your personality – remember, it’s for a TV show!
4) Make an effort with your appearance. Don’t just roll out of bed in your pajamas with last night’s make up on!”
Amy also recently hit back at trolls who criticised her appearance online.
