Louis Walsh was nearly left with no contestants for the X Factor – after their plane plunged over the Bermuda Triangle.
The Mayo man had picked his three groups who made it through to the show’s live stages in Bermuda – including Irish lad Chris Leonard.
But the three groups, and those who didn’t make it, along with X Factor host Dermot O’Leary nearly died on the return journey.

Their plane hit extremely bad weather by the Bermuda Triangle – causing it to terrifyingly plunge towards the sea.
They were traveling along with Xtra Factor presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford, Louis’ guest judge Tulisa and show bosses on the commercial flight.
“We were all terrified the plane was going to go down,” a source told the Sun.
“We were heading downwards and there was a lot of screaming and shouting. Nobody stayed calm. Some of us thought we were going to die.

“It was particularly scary because we knew we were over the Bermuda Triangle.”
“The pilot told us the extreme conditions hadn’t been picked up on the radar system, so they had to adjust the engines. That caused the plane to dip.”
More than a hundred ships, planes and people are believed to have vanished in the region.
