Al Porter has slammed RTE’s Dancing With The Stars and the show’s line-up.
The UK’s Strictly Come Dancing format is coming to the broadcaster on January 8th – but the comedian doesn’t think it will be as great a success.
“There’s the gag that the only celebrity in the show is in the title of it but I think it should be called RTE’s Dancing with the Stars,” he said.
Not so glitz: Al said that Hollywood won’t come knocking for Teresa Mannion | RTE
The Dubliner was not wowed with contestants reporter Teresa Mannion and former boyband star Dayl Cronin taking part.
“No offence to the lovely Teresa Mannion but Hollywood hasn’t been knocking,” he told The Irish Sun.
“Of course, the UK Strictly is bigger, their audience is massive.
“But still, one of ours is an ex-dancer and ex-member of ex-boyband Hometown.
“That’s more exes than Taylor Swift has.”
