Aidan Gillen admits: 'I had my emails HACKED looking for Game of Thrones scripts'

Actor Aidan Gillen revealed security for his Game of Thrones scripts has got even tighter after a spade of much-loved characters were killed off the hit show.

The TV star, who plays Petyr Baelish in the fantasy HBO drama, admitted his email was hacked trying to find the shows coveted scripts.

“No. But the security has to be super tight,” he said.

“Particularly now we’ve reached the point where we’ve gone beyond the books.

“I had my email hacked. I managed to stop it within seconds,” he told the Irish Times.

“I got one of those annoying messages – ‘Somebody has logged onto your devices’ – while I was actually logged on.

“When I was in The Wire we used to shred the scripts. Wish I’d kept them now.”

Aside from script worries, the Drumcondra native revealed he won’t be heading to Electric Picnic this year.

The Love/Hate star, who presents music show Other Voices on RTE and is known for his passion for music, revealed it’s too crazy of an environment for him to enjoy.

“That’s actually one of the places that it does get quite difficult. I found that quite hardcore the last time I was there,” he told HotPress Magazine.

“It’s one thing people coming up to you on the street but if it’s an enclosed environment like that, and people are in the festival mode, it can be quite crazy.

“People do all kinds of things. So I guess some things have changed.”
