A major Love/Hate character will be brutally killed off in a bloody knife attack.
The RTE series will see a deadly feud within the gang run by Tom Vaughan Lawlor’s character, Nidge.
Sources said that a main character – which could include Nidge, Fran, Tommy or Elmo – will meet a “gruesome end” when they are “repeatedly stabbed”.
“The series is going to be very emotional and the bloodiest yet,” an insider told the Irish Sun.

“One of the main characters will meet a gruesome end when they’re repeatedly stabbed.
“There’s also a lot of paranoia in Nidge’s gang and there’s going to be a major fall-out.
“It will be explosive stuff and everyone is looking forward to the series.”
Season five of RTE drama Love/Hate will see Nidge fleeing Ireland for Spain in a bid to survive a threat from Fran.

Already Tom Vaughan Lawlor has admitted Nidge could be killed off.
It has also emerged that real life Garda Kieran O’Reilly will be back on the show.
