A reunion episode of Friends is finally in the making – and all of the original cast have agreed to take part.
Jennifer Aniston had lain a seed of excitement last month when she said the cast were working on “something” special, and now The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that a one-off special will take place.
According to the publication the creators of the show are teaming up with HBO Max – the new streaming service launching in May 2020.
A special reunion episode would mark the 25th anniversary of the hit show, and apparently all of the cast are on board.
While nothing has been confirmed yet Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are all said to be keen on the plans.
“Sources caution that a deal is far from done and agreements with cast and creatives still need to be hammered out,” an insider told THR.
“When and if deals are completed, the challenge then becomes sorting out everyone’s schedules. Of course, the talks could fizzle and the whole concept could fall apart.”
