Jedward have revealed that they think Ireland’s Got Talent should happen.

Rumours have been rife that a show like Ireland’s Got Talent could replace The Voice of Ireland on RTÉ One, and X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes have now backed the show to be a huge success.

“I think it would be a good idea because Ireland has so much unusual talent,” they told Goss.ie at the Diana Award Anti-Bullying event in Facebook Dublin.

“There’s been a lot of Irish talent shows in the past like Your A Star and, I feel like they need to come up with a new format, something that people aren’t used to.

“Something that kind of throws them off and makes it really, really interesting again.”

On the topic of current Irish talent, the twins reveal that they believe Irish artists are some of the best in the world.

“I feel like Ireland’s a bit better than just talent, I feel like theres so many good acts come out of Ireland lately like Hozier, Kodaline and we’re making our own music as well.

“I feel like Irish music is really appreciated in America and worldwide,” they added.
