The best celebrity Halloween costumes of 2020

Still unsure what to dress up as this Halloween?

We’ve taken a look back at some of our favourite costumes worn by celebs last year to give you some inspiration.

From the KarJenner clan to the Fleming family, here are some fun looks for the spooky season:

Kylie and Kendall Jenner

Kendall and Kylie Jenner recreated an iconic look that they previously wore as kids last Halloween.

The reality stars completed the look with colourful wigs and awkward poses, and we loved the look!

Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins looked unrecognisable as she ditched her brunette locks for an icy blonde wig, mimicking pop icon Christina Aguilera.

Wearing a red and white striped bikini top with cut-out black leather and red trousers, the Irish Love Island star looked identical to the singer in her Dirty music video.

The McGregors

Conor McGregor shared sweet family snaps with his fiancée Dee Devlin, and their two children Croia and Conor Jr, as they celebrated Halloween at home together.

The MMA star described his look as a “Batman Joker hybrid”, while Dee wore a orange and black period costume.

Croia looked adorable in a little red riding hood get up, while Conor Jr went for an astronaut costume.

The couple welcomed their third child together, a baby boy named Rian, earlier this year – and we can’t wait to see their family costume this spooky season.

Lil Nas X

Lil Nas X dressed up as hip-hop star Nicki Minaj in her music video to Super Bass.

Sharing photos of the costume to Instagram, the Montero singer gained a lot of praise from a host of his A-lister friends for his creativity.

Iggy Azelea commented on the post: “You win Halloween 2020!”

Cardi B

Cardi B pulled out all the stops for the spooky season last year, dressing up as fictional Greek creature Medusa.

Medusa is best known as being a Gorgon with living venomous snakes in place of hair, with Cardi completely the dramatic look with a snakes tail on her bottom half.

Saweetie

Saweetie took inspiration from beloved girl group Destiny’s Child for her 2020 Halloween look, where she dressed up as Beyoncé.

The My Type rapper posed alongside her pals as they recreated the cover of the band’s hit track Bootylicious.

Taking it one step further, the 28-year-old also recreated the music video for the track.

Terrie McEvoy and David Fitzpatrick

Irish influencer Terrie McEvoy and her husband David Fitzpatrick’s Halloween looks last year sent their followers into hysterics, with the beloved couple dressing up as each other.

Poking fun at David’s obsession with cleaning, Terrie posed with a hoover in the hilarious snaps, while in another snap she held up a “I love birds” sign to make fun of his love of nature.

Meanwhile, David pouted as he held up a bottle of his wife’s Bahama Body tanning lotion.

The couple are expecting their first child together.

Pia Mia

Pia Mia dressed up as Tim Burton’s beloved Corpse Bride for her 2020 Halloween costume.

The animated musical fantasy film follows skeleton-like creature Emily, who whisks a shy groom away to the land of the dead.

Wearing a blue wig and skeleton-like makeup, the singer posed alongside a coffin and cobwebs, captioning her Instagram photos with a quote from the film.

“I always hoped to find someone to fall deeply in love with,” she wrote, “Someone to spend the rest of my life with. Silly, isn’t it?”

Kendall Jenner

Supermodel Kendall Jenner ditched her dark locks for a blonde wig as she channelled Pamela Anderson.

The 25-year-old dressed up as Pamela’s character Barb Wire in the 1996 movie under the same name, posing on a motorbike in a leather bodysuit and thigh-high boots.

Kendall replaced Pamela’s character’s gun with a Vote flag, encouraging her followers to vote in the US election that year.

Tadhg Fleming and his family

Tadhg Fleming and rose to fame after sharing a viral video back in 2017 of his dad Derry trying to catch a bat in their kitchen, creating thousands of hilarious videos since.

The Kerry natives showed off their humorous side once again for their Halloween costumes last year, dressing up as characters from Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Derry dressed up as Willie Wonka, while his wife and children dressed up as Oompa Loompas.

Laura Whitmore

Laura Whitmore dressed up as beloved sorority girl Elle Woods for the Celebrity Juice Halloween special.

The Love Island presenter gave the Legally Blonde title character a spookier twist by adding fake blood to her neck, with Elle’s dog Bruiser looking slightly scary with fangs and blood shot eyes.

Quoting one of Elle’s most iconic lines, Laura captioned her Instagram post of the look: “Bend and…. SNAP!!”

Maya Jama

Also getting all glammed up for the Celebrity Juice Halloween special, Maya Jama looked unrecognisable in her epic costume.

The presenter dressed up as Jessica Rabbit, a fictional character in Who Censored Roger Rabbit?

Wearing a bright red wig, a sparking red gown, paired with long purple gloves, Maya looked the image of the cartoon character.

Kylie Jenner and friends

Kylie Jenner and her friends transformed into the Power Rangers for a pre-Halloween party last year.

The beauty mogul dressed up as the Red Power Ranger, and was joined by her BFF Stassie Karanikolaou, Victoria and Sofia Villarroel, and their male friend Carter Gregory.

We can’t wait for Kylie’s 2021 costume!

Kim Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban

Kim Kardashian and her BFF Jonathan Cheban are known for dressing up together, previously celebrating Halloween as Cher and her ex-husband Sonny Bono.

Last year, the duo dressed as Carole Baskin and Joe Exotic, while Kim’s kids North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm dressed as tigers.

Kim, Jonathan and her four kids then posed for photos in her backyard, in front of a giant metal cage.
