Roz Purcell urges women to swap dresses for a suit to wow at Ladies Day

Model Roz Purcell has urged ladies to consider trying a suit in a bid to win at Ladies Day.

The ex-Miss Universe Ireland – who is well known for judging style competitions – also advised being “more alternative” if vying for the prize at the Dublin Horse Show.

“The conventional Ladies Day is definitely changing, even when I’m judging the best dressed competition, my brief is to look for something more modern, and you don’t have to spend loads of money to be a winner,” she said.

“Nowadays you can be a bit more street-style, and wear clothes from high street stores.

“I would also choose someone who was a bit more alternative… it would be great to see a girl wearing a suit win best dressed.

“I’d even go for a suit with a flare and a big floppy hat, which would be really cool. That’s the kind of outfit I would wear.”

Recently, Goss.ie revealed that Roz is getting set to release her own range of suits in September after wowing in one at the VIP Style Awards.

And the Celebrity Come Dine With Me star told the Herald: “I’m really excited about my range that are tailor-made for women.”
