Our FAVOURITE looks from the 2019 Met Gala

The stars went ALL out this year!

We want to see your best Met Gala looks

The annual Met Gala took place in NYC last night, and as always, it attracted a huge host of a-list celebrities.

The theme this year was ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’, based on Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay ‘Notes on ‘Camp.’

As per the theme, stars on the pink carpet went all out, making it the craziest Met Gala carpet we’ve ever seen.

From shimmering sequins, to all-out feathers gowns – these celebs nailed it in the styles stakes.

Lady Gaga

Of course, Lady Gaga HAD to be at the top of this list.

The singer rocked not one, not two, but FOUR different outfits on the Met Gala pink carpet last night.

Gaga pulled out all the stops in four different designs from Brandon Maxwell – the same person who created THAT meat dress, which she donned at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.

The songstress was co-chair this year, alongside Harry Styles and Serena Williams.

Ashley Graham

We absolutely adored Ashley Graham’s outfit for the Met Gala.

While her outfit may have divided opinion, we just loved this Gucci by Dapper Dan look, and she took the latest hair clip trend to the next LEVEL with that ponytail.

Saoirse Ronan

We may be biased but, Saoirse Ronan’s look was definitely our favourite this year.

The Irish actress looked seriously fierce in a red sequinned Gucci gown, which featured extravaggant gold dragon embellishments.

We LOVE!

Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves officially stole our hearts on the pink carpet last night.

The country singer was met by screaming crowds, as she pulled up to the Met Gala in a pink convertible – wearing an absolutely fabulous Moschino Barbie get up.

She can do no wrong…

Jared Leto

In a sea full of disappointing tuxedos, Jared Leto pulled it out of the bag for the Met Gala.

The actor showed up in a red Gucci number, which he paired with a model of his own head – an accessory straight from the brand’s fall 2018 runway show.

Ezra Miller

Another man who definitely didn’t disappoint when it came to the theme was Ezra Miller.

The star upped the theatrics in a Burberry suit, by carrying a mask of his own face on his stick.

Call it crazy, but these are the kinds of looks we LOVE to see at the Met.

Celine Dion

Celine Dion definitely turned heads last night on the pink carpet.

The 51-year-old looked sensational in a shimmering fringe costume, complete with an elaborate head dress.

She SLAYED!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner

Kendall and Kylie Jenner had everyone talking last night.

The Jenner sisters seriously wowed, as they walked the pink carpet together in the most extravagant gowns they’ve ever worn.

Considering their looks last year were so boring, we’re so glad Kendall and Kylie went all out this year, in custom Donatella Versace no less.

Cardi B

We weren’t big fans of Cardi’s 2018 Met Gala look, so we’re so glad she knocked it out of the park this year.

Pulling a Rihanna in a larger-than-life gown, the rapper literally took over the pink carpet in a custom burgundy gown by Thom Browne.

Kim Kardashian

Kim’s look for the Met Gala last night definitely divided opinion, but on closer inspection – we actually love it.

The dress was created by Manfred Thierry Mugler, his first design in 20 years.

Adorned with crystal droplets, Kim looked like she came straight out of the ocean as she posed on the pink carpet.

Naomi Campbell

Another feathered look we loved belonged to Naomi Campbell.

The supermodel stunned in a Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino Haute Couture dress, which featured a full and fabulous feathered cape.

She perfectly paired the look with lace tights and pink heels.

We LOVE!

Zendaya

Zendaya never fails to impress at the Met, and this year she literally lit up the pink carpet.

The actress turned heads in a Cinderella-inspired black and blue corseted Tommy Hilfiger ballgown, which transformed into a glowing dream when her stylist Law Roach waved his magic wand.

The dress was made by the Hilfiger team in collaboration with Hussein Chalayan.
