Miss Ireland Jessica Hayes is looking as a total long-shot to win Miss World this weekend.

Bookies have put the 20-year-old as high as as 125/1 for her to take home the crown when she competes in London on Sunday and follow in Rosanna Davison’s footsteps.

It seems the bookies have little faith in the Cork native returning home with the coveted title with Skybet placing odds at 125/1 and Ladbrokes at 66/1.

But our closet allie, Miss Northern Ireland Rebekah Shirley, is tipped to do better at the star studded contest with odds of 33/1.

However, it is Miss South Africa Rolene Strauss 2/1 and Miss Russia Anastasia Kostenko 8/1 who are the contests hot favourites.

Pageant experts Global beauties have touted the Corkonian, who’s currently living in London ahead of the final, to place in the Top 25.

However it hasn’t been plain sailing for the southern beauty since winning the title in July, as she was targeted by online trolls who called her “ugly”.
