Irish hairstylist Gareth Bromell did Taylor Swift’s hair, and has since gathered major attention online.
The hairdresser, hailing from Limerick, is the man behind Taylor’s hot new do’ – that even has Vogue Magazine talking.
Now, Gareth has explained why Taylor went for the shaggy look, which has been described as ‘break-up hair gone right’.
“Taylor wanted a bit of a change with her fringe and her bangs. What’s really modern at the moment is the shag hairstyle, which is a heavy fringe chopped into at the ends with a bit of layering.

“That’s what Taylor and I talked about and that’s what I did for her.”
After travelling to Taylor’s house to transform her hair, the pair later went to English model Liberty Ross’s birthday party together.
“Taylor was there and we were chatting and dancing. She dragged me into the photo booth and we took pictures. She is a beautiful, humble, amazing girl,” he told the Irish Mirror.
The 34-year-old uploaded a snap of himself and Taylor at the party, which has since gone viral thanks to Gareth’s expertise hairdressing skills.
Taylor Swift isn’t the first celeb Gareth has worked his magic on – he’s also styled models Heidi Klum, Lily Algridge and Bella Hadid, as well as actresses Michelle Williams, Rachel Wiesz, Winona Ryder, Chelsea Handler, Sophie Turner and Caitriona Balfe – and, last but not least, Robbie Williams.
Gareth works between the Marie Robinson hair salon in New York, and the Meche hair salon in LA, all while travelling the world to cut famous celebrities hair – with prices starting at a cool €310 per chop.
“I’m living the dream and I’m very lucky,” he added.
