Holly Carpenter made to DITCH the makeup for any chance of making it in the UK

Model Holly Carpenter has revealed she’s had to totally change her look to make it in the UK.

The former Miss Ireland moved to London in October following her split from rugby star Cian Healy.

And Holly, 23, has been told to scrape off the makeup, fake tan and even her hair extensions to get jobs.

She said: “They want you so pared back in London, so I’ve hardly been wearing any make-up over there and got rid of my hair extensions.

“It’s a completely different scene and you have to change to what they want and adapt quickly.”

She is now signed to UK agency BMA Models – but it is still extremely tough to get work.

“It’s a lot harder to be chosen for a job over there because there are so many other girls going for the one gig,” she told the Herald.

“I managed to get a few which is great, but I was more going over there to get out of my comfort zone.”
