Galway model Shahira Barry has made the move to Hollywood, and it’s working out already.
The brunette, who rose to fame after Hugh Hefner personally invited her to the Playboy Mansion, has already landed a role in the next Avicci music video.
“Since I’ve been here I went straight into work  with auditions and castings. I shot a music video with Magic and with Avicii,” she told Goss.ie.
“I knew the casting director so he got me the job it was so much fun and great day. We shot in downtown LA,” she explained.

Shahira, who previously starred in a music video with Enrique Iglesias says her dream is to be performing herself.
“I love doing music videos I feel like I’m learning because ultimately my dream has always been to be on stage as a singer and performer.”
But as well as working hard Shahira is playing hard too.
Although she’s only been in LA a few weeks, the model has already been back at the Playboy Mansion, and hung out with Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kris Humphries.

“Of course I’ve been back at the Playboy Mansion.  I went to the mid summers nights dream party and it was amazing,” she told Goss.ie.
“Yeah I got chatting to Kris he was a really nice guy, he’s very tall. But when one of the girls asked him for a photo he said he was too ‘faded’ meaning wasted.”
“It was a free bar so I think everyone was a bit messy,” she said.

Shahira has been granted the O1 Visa, meaning she can stay in the states for three years.
“I decided to come back because my 01 visa came through which means I can legally work here for three years so I moved over more permanently.”
