Ex-Miss Ireland Emma Waldron too busy for love as she builds New York tech empire

Model Emma Waldron has revealed she’s too busy for a boyfriend now – even if there is someone she’s smitten over.

The ex-Miss Ireland has moved to New York to work on setting up her own technology company.

And Emma, who previously split from boyfriend of four years Manners Oshafi, said she’s holding off on finding a new man.

“I am perfectly content as I am, building my empire. I think the best way to enter a relationship is organically, so I don’t force things and I don’t do man hunting, I’m laid back.

“There is someone I like but right now but I haven’t the time. I have just moved countries, settling in and making my way is what is important.”

And Emma told the Sunday Mirror that she is happy with both Yanks and the Irish.

She said: “Both American and Irish men have their charm. Irish guys are laid back which I like, they are genuine and have big hearts and are up for the craic. I love their dry wit.

“While American men are confident and are very vocal about what they think, they will cross the street to ask for your number and take it well if you refuse.

“They know how to take you on a date. All the romantic gestures, the wining and dining but at the end of the day what matters is the heart of the individual.

“So it doesn’t matter where you’re from, a good person is a good person however they conduct themselves.”
