Everyone is saying the same thing about Molly-Mae Hague’s pricey new Maebe blazer

Molly-Mae Hague delighted fans when she launched her long-awaited new clothing brand Maebe in September.

The 25-year-old released a limited range of pieces, including “the ultimate blazer”, jeans, a series of knit tops, and lounge wear – which sold out within 24 minutes.

Over the past few weeks, fans have finally gotten to wear their Maebe pieces after receiving them in the post – but many have been left disappointed.

The item that has attracted the most backlash is the ultimate blazer, which is the most expensive piece in her collection, priced at £140.

Despite its hefty price tag, multiple fans have been complaining about the quality of the blazer on social media.

In a video shared on TikTok, a fan named Morgan claimed the blazer she bought was “ruined” after just three hours of wear.

She said: “I managed to get the Molly-Mae Blazer, and I hate to say it, but maybe it was a waste of money.”

The fan then showed that the blazer had already started bobbling on both sides, and confessed the quality of the blazer has put her off buying any more pieces from Maebe.

She continued: “I was really excited to see what else came out with. But £140 for that I just think is criminal.

“I did not think that she was gonna put something out that was bad quality and wouldn’t be durable at that price point, but it is.”

After the video went viral, Morgan claimed Molly-Mae reached out offering to send a new blazer. However, she argued that she still wanted a refund as the replacement blazer would likely have the same issue.

Another fan named Lily Marie had the exact same issue, and shared an “honest review” of the blazer on TikTok.

Lily Marie said she was “very disappointed” by the quality, and would not recommend others to buy it.

In the comments under her post, another customer wrote: “Mine did the same and I emailed with images of it and they basically told me I couldn’t return because I’d worn it and they would give me 10% back to buy a debobbler 😂 I was fuming.”

@lilymariebond 💫Just a reminder: this video is a review of a product, NOT a person. Please keep the comments respectful and focused on the blazer itself. Sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions—let’s keep it constructive. Feedback is very valuable to new brands, allowing them to evolve for the benefit of their customers✨ #maebeblazer #maebereview #maebe #maebestore ♬ original sound – lilymariebond
