She was one of Ireland’s most successful models during her heyday.

And now Yvonne Connolly’s youngest daughter Ali Connolly-Keating – whose father is Ronan Keating – has joined her mother for her first ever modelling job, at the tender age of 10.

Yvonne shared a picture of them together on her Instagram page and wrote: “Ali’s first modelling job at the launch of the new ‘Stand ‘N Stuff’ Mini Soft Tacos, from Old El Paso, @aliconnollykeating.”

Ali is not the only family member following in Yvonne’s footsteps, as earlier this month the star revealed that her niece Jill Connolly has signed up to Assets models.

Posting a picture of Jill with her own daughter Missy, 15, Yvonne wrote: “Missy and my niece @jillconnolly_ at the premiere of #suicidesquad .Give Jill a follow ….She’s just signed up to @assetsmodels . Best of luck Jill !!!!! #model #fashion #agency.”

And no doubt Jill will be able to turn to her aunt for advice as Yvonne has managed to navigate the tricky world of Irish modelling and celebrity for over 20 years.

Speaking previously about Yvonne, Assets boss Derek Daniels told the Irish Independent: “She was literally running from job to job. Yvonne Connolly was, without a shadow of a doubt, the busiest commercial model of her time.

As a big treat on the last night of our holidays we're staying in the famous Viceroy L'ermitage. Lunch today at the Ivy. Spoiled rotten. Thank you @billwalshe @viceroyhotels

“Yvonne Connolly had the ability to look different in every job, so casting directors were never worried about booking her even if she was in other ads.

“That just didn’t happen with other girls, and the fact that she could cross over and do shows, press calls and shoots was also unusual.”
