The 90s are making a comeback people, and don’t pretend you’re not ridiculously excited.

Take a look:
1. Scrunchies
In the 90’s scrunchies were THE BOMB.
Gwen Stefani, the Olsen twins, and even Pheobe Buffay used to rock this trend.
And now, thank God, they’re back baby. How was this trend ever taboo?

2. Doc Martens
Raise your hand if you owned a pair of flowery doc martens in the 90’s? No? Just me? Ok.
Doc Martens were really really cool in the 90’s, and then they became really really uncool.. But they’re really really cool again woohoo.
Fashion eh, I just can’t keep up.
3. Tartan
Back in the decade that brought us Clueless, tartan was THE pattern.
We loved the little plaid skirts, and we love them now.
Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Jessica Alba are big fans of the trend.

4. Chokers
Velvet chokers, chain chokers, blingy chokers, leather chokers, ribbon chokers, the list NEVER ENDS.
Chokers are a 90’s style that have resurfaced in the last couple of years, to every girls delight.
Models such as Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are known for their love of the trend. Who am I to question a supermodels style?
5. Leather Jacket
Before you paired your leather jacket with skinny jeans and a crop top, Madonna paired hers with a grey pencil skirt.
The styling of leather jackets sure has changed, but they’re timelessness has not.
The leather jacket has been a staple in any woman’s wardrobe since the 90’s, long live the leather jacket.
6. Platform Shoes
It all started back in the 90’s. The Spice Girls were strong advocates for the sky high platform shoe.
Of course, their platform shoe was a little more extreme.
The resurrection of the platform shoe included toning it down a little. Sky high platform no more, just regular platform.
7. Denim Jacket
Hipsters rejoice! The denim jacket is back again.
In the 90’s, the denim jacket was the coolest thing you could wear.
Britney Spears used to wear denim jacket’s all the time back in the 90’s. And now in 2016, Britney Spears still wears denim jackets. (She will be stylish forever)
8. Crop Top
Ah, the heaven sent crop top. What would we do without it?
The answer to the question “what are you wearing tonight?” couldn’t be “jeans and a nice crop top.” Sounds like hell to me.
Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Anniston and basically every celebrity in the 90’s rocked a crop top.

9. High Waisted Jeans
What goes together just like peanut butter and jelly? A crop top and high waisted jeans.
They are a saving grace sent straight from the 90’s.
Baggy, skinny or cropped, high waisted jeans are God in jean form.
10. Jelly Sandals
Love them or hate them, jelly shoes are back people.
Of course, they’re not exactly like the jelly shoes you wore to the beach in the 90’s.
The 2016 twist on jelly shoes is to add a chic heel and to have a bit of fun with it.

11. Dungarees
Dungarees are one of the biggest trends of 2016, and guess where they came from? Yup, you guessed it, the 90’s.
Looking at 90’s dungarees now will probably make you cringe. But over time we have perfected the dungaree look.
You can wear dungarees with a plain tshirt and runners, or you can dress them up with heels. It’s up to you. Dungarees for life.
12. Deep Berry Lips
Berry was the most 90’s lip colour there ever was.
Now, in 2016, as grunge makes its way back into the mainstream, so has this deep shade of lipstick.
Slick a berry shade on your lips, very minimal eye makeup and voilá, you’ve time travelled back to the 90’s.
