Irish designer Manley has launched her new Spring Summer 2016.

Drawing inspiration from the rich colour, bold geometric shapes and sharp lines of the De Stijl art movement, the new range is filled with a mix of Kelly Green, bubblegum pink and periwinkle.

While other pieces in the collection juxtapose the bright shades with more minimal colours such as white cornflower blue, midnight navy and daisy white – something Daniella Moyles would wear.

Key pieces in the SS16 include Manley’s statement midi skirt and boxter top in a mix of textures and fabrics.

Loosely cut silk dresses and tops with metallic paneling, and popping insets on leather tees and skirts also feature heavily in the collection which Amy Huberman is a big fan of.

Clothing aside Manley’s staple necklace collar makes a comeback in a wealth of different shades and sizes – the perfect accessory to liven up your outfit.

“This SS16 I’ve pushed the brand forward in colour and design, while still remaining true to the Manley woman,” said Emma Manley, Creative Director of Manley.

“Sexy, sporty, playful and powerful, she is forever ahead of the sartorial curve and constantly on the move, requiring outfits that take her from day to night.

“Each season she curates her wardrobe with impeccable focus, yet the result appears as an effortless riff of directional style,” she added.
