The PERFECT place for food and pints has just opened in Dun Laoghaire

This place is going to be packed this summer!

Dún Laoghaire’s newest venue finally opened it’s doors last week, and it’s guaranteed to be a hit thanks to their excellent beers, tasty food, and regular live music slots.

Just a stones throw away from the West Pier of Dun Laoghaire, The Beer Keeper is very accessible from the DART line – and surrounding areas such as Monkstown & Blackrock.

The Beer Keeper boasts an extensive array of beers and signature cocktails, and their offering changes on a weekly basis – to make every visit a little more different.

Owners Wes Flynn and Karl Miller, who have over 25 years of hospitality experience between them, have very close relationships with the breweries that they deal with – which gives them access to several unique beers, that won’t be found in most bars across the country.

This year, they will also start brewing their own beers through ‘The Beer Keeper Brewing Co.’ – and they will be available exclusively in their Waterford (John Street) and Dublin (Dun Laoghaire) venues.

Pints aside, The Beer Keeper has partnered with Soup of Dun Laoghaire for their amazing Bar Bites Menu.

The mouth-watering menu has incredible options for individuals, couples or large groups – and includes dishes like Pulled Pork Popcorn, Deep Fried Kimchi, and a Halloumi Spice Bag.

The people behind The Beer Keeper are massive fans of live music, so you’re guaranteed some quality entertainment when dropping in.

Similar to their wide variety of beverages, The Beer Keeper’s taste in music is vast, and they have live music most nights of the week – and give local talent opportunities to promote themselves.

If you’re looking for a more chilled out night, the R&R room at the back of the pub is the perfect cosy spot to relax with friends and switch off from the distractions of the modern world.

The Beer Keeper’s mission is to bring some magic back to the days of old – and encourage friends, families and lovers to interact and engage with each other in their venues.

To help with this, they’ve created their very own ‘Phone Keeper’ boxes – that you can use at your discretion in order to live in the now and appreciate the company you are in.

The Beer Keeper is located at 128 George’s Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire.

Make sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to keep up with their latest offers and live music act announcements.
