Yvonne Connolly won’t ever marry her boyfriend John Conroy.
The loved-up pair have been together for four years but Yvonne – who has three children with ex-husband Ronan Keating – says that she is “no longer sure about the sanctity of marriage” and doesn’t feel the need to wed.
Speaking to the Sunday Independent’s Life magazine, Yvonne said: “I’m not sure about the sanctity of marriage but I do believe in the sentiment of it, and I can see why two people want to commit to each other, especially if they plan on having children.
“John and I love the bones of each other, but neither of us feels the need to get married. If his feelings for me change, I don’t want any vows, guilt, financial commitments – or anything else for that matter – to keep us together.”
Yvonne and Ronan split after it emerged he had been having an affair with dancer Francine Cornell.

He went on to marry TV producer Storm Uechtritz last year and Yvonne found love with cinematographer John.
Speaking of when she knew he was the one, she said: “One winter’s night in Dublin, early in our relationship, the heating was broken. It was Baltic, I came out of the bathroom freezing and he was sprawled out on my side of the bed. He looked at me and told me he was warming it up for me and I fell head over heels in love.”
