Xpose star Lisa Cannon has revealed she keeps her relationship healthy by refusing to hold her anger in.
The TV3 host admitted she’s had to learn over time not to keep things in – and occasionally have to annoy rugby star fiance Richard Keatley.
She said:Â “Communication is so important and to be honest it is actually one of the hardest things you can do.
“It should be the easiest but sometimes you don’t want to offend your partner – if something is important to you, you have to say it.”

Lisa also revealed the key to a lasting relationship is compromise and a bit of “give and take.”
She said: “Everybody is only human and it is very important to remember that everybody is imperfect and it is those imperfections that make a person unique.”
The TV3 star met her fiance Richard on an unplanned night out with her friends.
“We met in a nightclub called Tonic. I wasn’t supposed even supposed to be going out,” she told RSVP magazine.
“But my friends kept asking me to go out – I was approached by Richard and he bought me a cosmo. The rest is history.”

Lisa also revealed that the most romantic thing that Richard had ever done for her was his proposal in Paris.
“He hired a busker to sing ‘Just Say Yes’ in the Palais Royal Gardens in Paris, and then got down on one knee with my mum’s engagement ring,” she said.
“My mum has passed on so it was very special for me. He had designed a ring for me in New York which he flew over for me later – It was very special. A girl has to say yes.”
