Westlife’s Mark Feehily is hoping to start a family before he tuns 40.
The top Irish singer is set to tie the knot with fiance Cailean O’Neill, after getting engaged earlier this year.
“I am much happier now than I was at at 20,” he told The Mail on Sunday.
“It is all good and well and good being young but I am happier and more settled, so I am in the best place I have ever been.”
The star told the paper that he is only feeling better, more accomplished and more comfortable with age.
“It is a very comfortable feeling. Things are getting better the older I get.”
“I think people always associate getting older as a negative but I am enjoying it.
“I can’t wait to be 40.”
“Hopefully I will be turning 40 the happiest man in the world with a family,” he revealed. “I would love to have my own kids running around one day.”
“It is absolutely the next step.”
Mark and Cailean got engaged in the Maldives earlier this year, and have been together for over five years.
