Westlife set to release tell-all documentary film about their reunion

The band announced their reunion late last year

Westlife are set to release a tell-all documentary film about their reunion.

The popular boyband reunited late last year, and are set to embark on a 33-date European tour in May to mark their 20th anniversary.

According to The Sun, Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily and Kian Egan have been followed by cameras since they first agreed to the reunion – and both Sky and Netflix are interested in the footage.

Kian said: “We’ve had crews on us since the first day because we knew straight away – we’ve got to capture it even if it’s just for ourselves. I think it’s just a case of figuring out whether it’s going to be a Netflix or a Sky thing.”

Shane said: “We’ll document it in some way because it’s important for us and our kids and for the fans to realise how it all came back together. I think that it is going to be magic.”

It’s believed the docu-film will also include footage from when Westlife first split back in 2012.

Shane added: “No one’s ever seen that. It’s just us.”
