Westlife took to the stage in Newcastle this weekend, as part of their Twenty Tour.
Amidst the renditions of classic Westlife anthems such as Uptown Girl and Mandy, the band mates took some time to interact with the audience – and one fan got more attention than she bargained for.
The band members noticed that a woman in the crowd was on the phone to her partner during the gig.
Nicky asked her to pass her phone to him on stage, so that he could speak to her boyfriend.
In a video obtained by Chronicle Live, the band member holds the phone to the mic, waiting for her boyfriend to pick up – but he never does.
The call rings out, and the lads can’t even leave a voicemail as there is none set up.
The band have been highly praised for their performances on the tour thus far.
