The band performed Take My Hand

Picture This made their US TV debut yesterday, and they clearly impressed the American audience as their new album stormed the charts after their performance.

Bandmates Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford, who hail from Athy, performed their hit single Take My Hand on the Today Show, which rakes in over four million viewers every day.

When introducing them, the presenters said, “In less than a year, Picture This went from working class beginnings in a small Irish town to selling out two Dublin arenas in under three minutes.”

Speaking about their success so far, lead singer Ryan said, “It’s been crazy, we didn’t expect it at all. We just put a song on Facebook at the very beginning – which is Take My Hand.

“We didn’t even want to be a band at the time, we were kind of forced into it, so now we’re here. To be playing in New York last night was amazing.”

Following their performance, their new album landed in the Top 5 in the US Alt Charts, which they revealed on Instagram.
