Niall Horan took to the stage on Saturday Night Live last night to perform his hit song Nice To Meet Ya.
The Mullingar man was introduced with help from actress Scarlett Johansson, who was hosting the show.
Niall opted for a pink suit for the song’s TV moment.
Fans reacted in a big way to the performance. Many said that the star was nervous, but pulled it out of the bag.
“Auto tune who? And to think how he was saying he was so nervous,” wrote one fan.
“Niall totally blew the roof off the studio with that one. He was just rocking out, totally in it. Fantastic performance,” said another.
He also performed new song Put A Little Love on Me.
Niall told Jimmy Fallon that performing on the show was set to be a career highlight.
“I’ve just been up the stairs rehearsing. I mean, It’s SNL,” he told the talkshow host.
“For us, the Grammys and SNL are like one and two right next to each other.”
“To get the call… to say you’re going to be musical guest, it’s pretty sweet.”
Niall also made his comedy debut during the show.
The Irish star featured in one of the show’s famous sketches, about a trio of ghosts who haunt a hot tub.
