Niall Horan has weighed in on the Taylor Swift vs Kanye West drama.
The blonde songstress and the US rapper have been embroiled in a highly-publicised feud, after Kim Kardashian leaked a tape of Taylor Swift agreeing to the lyrics of Kanye’s hit track Famous – after she previously denied that she had confirmed anything with Kanye.
While many have taken Kanye’s side, Niall Horan has revealed that he prefers Taylor Swift – because she’s a “sweetheart”.
The One Direction star was taking part in a pool challenge with Golf Digest to raise money for a charity in Minneapolis called Reach, when he revealed why he’d choose Taylor over Kanye.
“Taylor Swift all day long. She’s a sweetheart,” he said.
Niall’s loyalty to Taylor may have something to do with his friendship with Selena Gomez, who he was romantically linked to last year.
Taylor also famously dated Niall’s bandmate Harry Styles, but their relationship ended on a sour note, and she wrote two songs (Style, Out Of The Woods) about him.
The singer also hilariously quipped that golfers have the worst taste in fashion, and joked that Rory McIlroy dresses like his dad.
