He may be engaged but Irish rugby star Jamie Heaslip got intimately acquainted with a giraffe.
The Leinster player, who has been enjoying Ireland’s South African tour, puckered up to the wildlife while in Johannesberg’s Lion’s Park with his team mates.
Taking it in his stride, the Kildare native held a treat for the adorable animal in his mouth as the giraffe poked it’s tongue out and grabbed the food.
Sharing the clip on Instagram, the sports star’s team mates can be heard groaning in the background as he gets licked by the giraffe.
This isn’t the 32-year-old’s first encounter with wildlife on his southern hemisphere trip.
The Bridge owner previously swam with sharks in Cape Town.
