Eoghan McDermott has shared a video detailing his attack on St. Stephen’s night.
The presenter was left with a concussion and forced to get a brain scan after a stranger jumped him from behind.
In the new video, Eoghan thanks everyone for their kind and warm messages and talks about how he’s feeling after the attack.

Eoghan details exactly what happened that night, “Face is a bit swollen. I was in Clondalkin on Stephen’s night, I socialise there regularly. Was over seeing friends and family, never had any problems.
“I was walking by myself to get a taxi home on the phone and someone – or some ones – came up behind me and sucker punched me in the back of the head.
“I fell down and hit my head off the concrete, was knocked unconscious.”
