Vogue Williams has shocked her husband Spencer Matthews with a hilarious story about “falling asleep on her doorstep” when she was a teenager.
Speaking on their self-titled podcast ‘Spencer & Vogue’, the 36-year-old told the tale of a wild night out, which left her unable to make it past her front door.
The couple had been discussing how someone had fallen asleep in a wheelie bin when Vogue made her revelation.
“How hammered do you have to be to get picked up by a dump truck and not notice?,” Spencer asked.
To her husband’s astonishment, Vogue responded: “We’ve all been there. I’m sorry I have fallen asleep on the doorstep. Have you never fallen asleep on a doorstep?”
“I can’t tell if you’re joking, of course, I haven’t fallen asleep on the doorstep,” the Made In Chelsea star said. “You’ve curled up in a ball on the doorstep? I used to have a drinking problem and I have never done that.”
The Bare By Vogue founder explained that her father was not impressed by the situation.
“When I was 17 and my dad came downstairs and he was absolutely raging with me,” she admitted.
“But it was a local area, local taxis would bring you home and they would be trying to ring the door for me and my dad would come down.”
“I was like 17. That’s when I used to pre-drink and I would have two cans of Bulmers and a shoulder of vodka which I think is 500ml of vodka. I went too far.”
Vogue, 36, and Spencer, 33, tied the knot in June 2018 at Spencer’s 10,000 acre family estate in Scotland.
The couple share three children together – Theodore, Gigi and Otto.
The couple had a second wedding in 2019 when their son Theodore was one-year-old.
