Vogue Williams has spoken out about her marriage with ex-husband Brian McFadden, admitting that she feels “sick” just thinking about it.
The presenter spoke about her former marriage in her new podcast with husband Spencer Matthews called Spencer & Vogue.
While discussing past relationships, the 34-year-old told Spencer that she had never really felt “massively sad” after any of her past break-ups.
“I can’t say I was every massively sad about a break-up before. I was really embarrassed,” she shared.
Spencer told his wife: “Before you, I’d never had a relationship before where I thought ‘Hmm I might marry this person’. Not once. Not even close.”
“Well I obviously did,” Vogue responded – referring to her three-year marriage with Brian.
Spencer said: “Every time I go into the safe by the way I have to see your marriage certificates.”
“Sometimes I forget it ever happened,” she admitted, adding: “Let’s bin that one – it makes me feel a little bit sick in my mouth.”
Vogue previously admitted that her anxiety was at its’ worst following her split with her ex-husband.
Speaking to T2 about her battle with anxiety, Vogue said of the split: “That was probably the worst my anxiety has ever been…”
“And since then I’ve never had it as bad. Since then it’s been a work-in-progress because I started to see a therapist and I became very mindful of my training, of the way I was eating…”
“Everything shifted after I was more careful of myself. You don’t realise how fragile you can be until you’ve gone through something like that — but now I don’t get it so much because I live with Spenny” – she said of Spencer Matthews.
Announcing their shocking split back in 2015, the former couple shared a statement on Twitter.
They wrote: “It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways… We will always care about each other, remain friends and wish each other all the very best for the future.”
Vogue and Spencer are now happily married with two children, Theodore and Gigi – who they welcomed last month.
