Her three-year marriage to Brian McFadden ended in June 2015 and Vogue Williams admitted going through a public split was heartbreaking.
While the DJ and presenter found coping with the breakdown of her marriage difficult enough, she says that having people she didn’t know gossiping about it, made everything even worse.
Writing in her Sunday World column, Vogue said: “I know when I went through a very public break-up that having people I didn’t know discuss it was one of the worst parts.”

She went on to add: “I was obviously very upset and when a marriage breaks down, there’s a feeling of complete failure too. I couldn’t help but read what people were saying and with so many tweets directed at me, it was impossible not to see it.
“I literally wanted to hide away, but even that was hard with photographers following me trying to get the first photo.”
Last month Vogue reacted to an interview Brian did, where he claimed they no longer speak.
“Brian and I are in contact and we’re still friends, just not best friends,” she told the Irish Sun.
“It’s true we weren’t talking for a while because we needed a break from talking.
“Just so we could move on and do our own stuff.”
