Vogue Williams reveals she was ‘thrown out’ of home by her mother as a teenager

Vogue Williams has revealed that she was “thrown out” of her childhood home by her mother when she was a teenager.

The Irish presenter grew up in Portmarnock and Howth in Dublin with her brother Fredrick, sister Amber, and her parents Sandra and Freddie – who separated when she was seven.

The model opened up about her trouble-making days as a youngster, admitting she had been suspended from school multiple times.

“In later life I got thrown out of my house for about a year,” the 35-year-old confessed on the latest episode of her podcast Spencer & Vogue with husband Spencer Matthews.

“I had to go live with my dad for about a year because I was so bold and I kept getting suspended from school so that wasn’t great,” the mother-of-two recalled.

Vogue also opened up about an incident with her sister from their youth, where she was punished for hitting Amber in the face.

“I remember once it was Amber’s birthday party and I was kind of jealous that it was her birthday party so I started having meltdowns,” she explained.

“And I got a plank of wood and I hit her across the face with it.”

“And my mum, in front of all of Amber’s friends, I’ll never forget it, she pulled down my pants and she slapped me on the bum in front of everyone.

“I was so embarrassed so that was a pretty bad punishment,” Vogue added.

Vogue currently lives in London with her husband Spencer, and their two children Theodore, 2, and Gigi, four months.

The radio presenter recently admitted she was “disappointed” she could not return home to Dublin for Christmas.
