Vogue Williams has revealed her husband Spencer Matthews was “meant to set her up with” boxer Anthony Joshua.
The Irish presenter met Spencer in 2017 on Channel 4’s winter sports show The Jump, and the couple got engaged the following year.
Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast ‘My Therapist Ghosted Me’ with Joanne McNally, the 35-year-old admitted Spencer was “kind of a one night stand”.
“Spencer was kind of a one night stand but not really because I had known him for three weeks before. But the first night we kissed was the first night we… I’m not really a one night stander.”
“I tried my best to be more worldly when I broke up from a long term relationship but I just kept bouncing from relationship to relationship only seeing one person at one time.”
“But at one stage when I met Spencer I was texting like four or five other people with the intention of being worldly but then I met Spencer and he kind of took up all my time and ruined it.”
“And he was meant to set me up with Anthony Joshua and he didn’t,” Vogue revealed.
Vogue and Spencer tied the knot in a secret ceremony in the Scottish highlands, at Spencer’s family’s 30,000-acre estate in June 2018.
At the time of their wedding, Vogue was pregnant with their first child Theodore.
The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Gigi, last July.
Vogue recently revealed her plans to try for another baby with Spencer this year.
