Viewers have hit out at This Morning for calling Ruth Negga british.
The Limerick native attended the Oscars last night where she was up for Best Actress.
However, the Loving star missed out on the award which was given to Emma Stone instead for her role in La La Land.

While discussing the style at the Oscars, the Irish-Ethiopian actress was said to be “flying the flag for British style.
Many people took to Twitter as the segment aired and tweeted This Morning saying that Ruth is in fact Irish.
