UFC boss hints that Conor McGregor could get his rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov

UFC president Dana White has hinted that Conor McGregor could get a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

On Saturday night, McGregor tweeted to challenge Nurmagomedov to a fight, tweeting: “Book my rematch for Moscow.”

The tweet came almost one year after their Vegas match in 2018.

The Irish champ was defeated by the Russian fighter for the first time since 2016.

Now, UFC bosses have said that a rematch could actually be on the cards.

“Conor wants that fight really badly, and I’m sure the fans would want to see it,” UFC president Dana White told The Star.

“So we’ll see how this thing plays out.”

Shortly following his loss to Khabib, McGregor spoke out, saying he looked forward to the rematch.

Conor also shared a photo of himself in the octagon on Instagram and told fans: “I’ll be back.”
