U2 fans are ALREADY queuing outside the 3Arena ahead of their homecoming gig

U2 fans are already queuing outside the 3Arena, ahead of the band’s first homecoming concert this evening.

On Monday, the rockers will play the first of four sold-out Irish concerts on their Experience + Innocence tour.

According to photos and videos shared on Twitter, fans have been waiting in the rain since 6am this morning, despite the fact that the lads won’t hit the stage until around 8pm this evening.

Meanwhile, their gigs in the 3Arena are expected to be a family affair, according to the Irish Mirror.

An insider said: “The band have been touring so much, they’re really looking forward to spending time with their nearest and dearest.”

“All their wives and kids are coming, Bono’s two daughters live in New York and they’ll be flying home for it. Bono’s wife Ali’s parents will be going to the show too.

“They have a lot of celebrity friends and everyone wants to see U2 in their home town so there’s no doubt the gigs will have a star-studded turnout. The band are throwing aftershow parties in town too,” they added.
