Twink has opened up about her secret boyfriend, 16 years after she split from her ex-husband.
The panto queen, real name Adele King, was married to oboist David Agnew for 21 years, until the pair dramatically split in 2004.
Speaking on the latest episode of Lodging With Lucy, Twink said: “I have a lovely chappy. But, mercifully for me, he is a complete extreme academic and he is on the far side of the world.”
“I often go and meet him in London or if he’s lecturing in Frankfurt or something. He is really sweet.”
“He has his world and his life out there that I am not part of and he’s not part of my culture and my life, but when the two meet it is lovely,” she added.
During the episode, the 69-year-old said she’s happy she’s now on better terms with her ex-husband – after years of tension.
Back in 2006, a foul-mouthed voicemail message she sent David was leaked to the media, after he fathered a child with a fellow orchestra musician.
The voicemail was played on the national airwaves, and became one of the most talked-about moments in Irish showbiz.
